ASU-Beebe Music Department to Host Jazz Event

BEEBE-The Arkansas State University-Beebe Music Department will sponsor the fundraising event 'Jazz-Hot and Sweet,' on Thursday, Mar. 2, at 7:30 p.m. at the University Cafe.

The event will offer various premium desserts, created by Tim Brenner and his staff in the University Cafe, while attendees listen to the sounds of jazz music presented by The Chamber Singers, Dr. Tammie Burger, Dr. Jeff Parker, and the Gillan Emdee Trio.

Admission is $5 per person and reservations for the event are required. Contact the Ticket Office at the Student Center Information Desk, 882-8351 for tickets and reservations. Money raised from the event will help defray the cost of The Singers' five day Arkansas spring performance tour, to be held in March.
